My cousin recently overdosed and passed away. We wrote this song last year when he was living with me in between rehabs. I guess this is my way of preserving my memories of my times with him. Hope you like it.
lyrics
Riding down that old dusty road
with the moon and the stars in tow.
Take me back to that place,
that place where I want to go
Longing to breathe that sweet salty air
Oh how I long to expire there.
As I lay back in the grass
bury me deep peace at last.
Peace at last
